Homecoming road closures and places to park
The Office of Parking and Transportation will enforce parking lot closures for Howard University’s 101st Anniversary Homecoming Celebration from Monday, October 20, through Saturday, October 25, 2025. Parking will be limited, and unauthorized vehicles will be ticketed and towed. The following lot closures will be in effect during this time.
Street and Parking Lot Closures By Day
Designated parking lots will reopen in time for Call to Chapel on Sunday, Oct. 26. Parking will be limited, and unauthorized vehicles will be ticketed and towed.

Shuttle Services
Shuttle service will remain fully operational during Homecoming week, with temporary stop adjustments as road closures take effect:
- Stops along 6th Street will move to Georgia Avenue and Howard Place.
- On Saturday, October 25, all weekend shuttles will drop off only at Sherman Avenue and Barry Place. No other on-campus stops will be available due to road closures.
